After anaesthesia

Do not drive a car or operate machinery for 24 hours after anaesthesia.

Do not consume alcohol, sedatives, sleeping medication, or any non-prescribed medication for 24 hours after anesthesia.

Do not make important decisions or sign any important papers within 24 hours of anaesthesia.

Call the office or present to the Emergency Department if:

  • You develop a fever or chills

  • The catheter stops draining, or you are unable to urinate

  • You have uncontrolled pain

  • Passing large clots bigger than a 50-cent coin
